Scott Abbott brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the real estate industry in the
Queensbury/Glens Falls/Lake George region. Born and raised in Albany/Colonie, as well as Bolton
Landing/Lake George, Scott’s upbringing instilled in him a profound appreciation for the outdoors and a
keen understanding of the local real estate landscape. Outdoor experiences and activities have always
been a part of what Scott enjoys and who he is.

A graduate of South Colonie High School and the University of Rhode Island, where he excelled both
academically and athletically, Scott’s competitive spirit and diligence have been evident throughout his
life. Having played four years of Division I College Baseball has helped to sharpen his teamwork and
leadership skills that have served him well thought his career.

Scott’s professional journey led him into the family automotive retail business, where he expanded
operations, diversified the product line and enhanced customer experiences. A background of 30+ years
in marketing, planning, budgeting, managing and interacting with a diverse clientele, coupled with his
constant attention to detail, has provided him with the foundation, tools and ability to communicate
and understand what his clients need and expect.

Furthermore, Scott’s ventures into real estate development have provided him with a greater level of
understanding and insight into both simple and intricate property transactions. Whether assisting first-
time home buyers or seasoned developers, he brings along a wealth of knowledge and understanding.
With a lifetime spent on Lake George, Scott possesses a unique perspective on waterfront properties. It
is this learned and acquired expertise that makes him an invaluable asset to his clients seeking to buy or
sell property around the lake. His love for outdoor activities, including fly fishing, hiking, mountain
biking, skiing and windsurfing further enriches his understanding of the region’s lifestyle and its

Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and friends, exploring the outdoors in and
around our community, on the water and in the mountains both locally and Colorado whenever
possible.
